今安 = Now Peace
Jin An is the new host of a Chinese proverbs series. Her very name means "Peace Now". She is wearing white: white is a holy colour for it implies the purity of the soul, which is also why white in Chinese culture is a funerary colour.
In this episode she discusses the proverb
香椿过房,主人恐伤
which means something like this "When the spring shoots of the Toon tree enter the room, the owner will be injured soon."
Toon trees have delicious sprouts which may be gathered in spring. The injury however may come either from the act of climbing the tree to gather the shoots or instead from spring winds knocking the tree over onto one's house.
In context then this proverb means: that in the desire to profit greatly one must not destroy their own life, home, or wealth. This then is saying that China wants peace now and also knows that trying to profit from the war in Ukraine would risk damaging the health and wealth of Chinese and their beautiful peaceful homes.
There may also be readings of this relevant to Chinese domestic housing investments. Namely, it is a warning to large speculators not to be too greedy in harvesting profits at the expense of the housing of the ordinary Chinese people, the 老百姓.
These are also examples of why credible analysts of Chinese affairs must speak and read Chinese fluently. With 1.4 billion people and their 5000 years of history anyone lacking basic Chinese literacy ought not to be trusted in their political or economic predictions about Chinese actions or intentions.

Like you can see, 今安 is charming, beautiful, and well spoken. Let's hope others get the deeper message.
