UKRAINE WILL WIN. HERE’S WHY.

Many people think Ukraine is losing or lost or blah blah blah. This is because they lack military training or language awareness (I speak French, German, Russian, Chinese fluently) -- usually they lack both, and generally also lack geographic awareness. Most of foreign policy concerns are outside of the interests or uses of daily living for ordinary people, a sort of rational ignorance prevails in that regard.

As you may not have noticed:

1) About a half dozen Russian shadow fleet vessels "mysteriously" sank recently in rapid succession.

2) Ukraine has repeatedly struck the Engels air force base and oil facilities, as well as other petro-chemical targets in Southern Russia at places you never heard of

3) Occasional car bombs make certain special assholes day particularly unpleasant.

Some people like to believe Trump will take power and impose peace. These people are of two sorts

1) well wishers who simply want the killing to stop so normal people which is most of the world can get back to business. These are the minority but such people do exist.

2) greedy opportunistic cynics with no spine or strategy beyond lie-lie-deny. They are Putins willing supporters and also the useful idiots.

I will tell you exactly what will happen, just like I pointed out a place called Engels is gonna get plastered, hammered, and double tapped just to make a point about targeting officers true names.

1) Trump really will try to impose peace.

2) Putin will play along

3) Putin will betray Trump because

a) He wants Ukraine. All of it. Yesterday. At any price. And by any means.

b) Two dogs can't have the same bone

c) There is no honor among thieves.

4) Trump will thus fail to impose peace. AND THEN WHAT

Meanwhile, mistaken thinkers wrongly believe

1. Ukraine needs foreign aid and/or

2. Foreign aid from countries other than the USA will stop

Both those positions are mistaken.

1. Wars can be waged by utterly impoverished nations with absolutely no foreign aid. The Che Guevara crowd likes to remember its heroic imaginations about Fidel, and Che, and Ho Chi Minh. What they don't like to remember is countries like Rhodesia, which as a minority was able to fight on for the better part of a decade with no foreign aid and plenty of opposition. Ukraine can and will fight on, just like Vietnam did for decades DECADES. Vietnam was at war from 1940 (at least) until 1975.

But they won.

2. The USA now pursues a fairly evident unilateral course of action which is not going to attract support from its allies. So, any chance Trump might have had of convincing France, Britain, CANADA, Australia, DENMARK from supporting Ukraine (the ones in allcaps are both strong supporters of Ukraine and have been alienated by Trump before his inauguration) well... even though Ukraine does not need but definitely wants foreign aid (to win the war. so normal people can get back to business, rah rah crapitalism)

Ukraine doesn't need your weapons. Russia is happily supplying Ukraine with plenty of weapons in the form of captures. Munitions too.

Though yeah, Ukraine wants weapons munitions medicines prosthetics and most any other aid.

And will very likely get it.

Especially after Putin betrays Trump. But even without Putin OR Trump backstabbing the other Ukraine will get weapons, munitions, medicines, food, necessaries, one way or other.

Very few people have asked themselves what China wants in all of this or where China stands.

Suffice it to say Russia will be reduced to Muscovy. Might take a year. Might take a decade.
