Trump has already been adjudicated by Congress assembled to have committed insurrection. A trier of facts having so determined there is but no logical or justifiable choice other than disqualification. The question of fact is res judicata. Although the supreme Court might assert de Novo review why would it and even if it did why and how would it contrary Congress?

The constitutional issue is the adjudicative power of the congress. That may be elucidated as dicta. The factual issue is already determined. Summary judgement entirely appropriate.

But I believe a moral person can and has the duty to improve things not despite but because of injustice.

Every injustice is a challenge and call to action.

If you wish to improve the world improve yourself. Self mastery leads. It starts with self knowledge, continues with bringing word thought and deed into conformity, and concludes with others voluntarily emulating your ideas and following your example.
