Russia will splinter along national lines. Everything east of the Urals is unlikely to become one single country. Rather Komi, Mari, Nenets, Yakutia etc.

This is why China does not want war,
even as you must prepare for war, if only to deter the other guy.
THE GRAND PACIFIC PEACE PLAN (大太平海和平机会)
This is in fact the dawning of the Pacific Century. It is the sunset of imperialism, not the end of globalization. I refer here to ideas which shall be developed and exposed limited only by the exigencies of the world's final imperial war of colonizations, Russia's doomed effort to subjugate rape rob and murder Ukraine.
China and the USA both have misperceptions of the others beliefs, intentions, and thus misinterpret the others' actions. My aim is to help right the ship of state, so that it may sail forth to brighter skies and calmer waters. I try to explain their misperceptions in the right sequence to prevent and resolve conflicts pacifically.
My goal, frankly speaking, is to build a grand pacific century of peace. That shall follow Putin's stupid failed smash-and-grab rape festival. I try to explain their misperceptions as quickly as possible, precisely to terminate Putin's stupid stunt with the least bloodshed possible.
You may ask me, privately, questions of economy, but my answers would not be for investment purposes. "Merely" resolving questions of war and peace is, to my view, more difficult and more important.
The Wise western policy shall be good faith economic engagement with China to help China make further progress. Hopefully, knowing their are no nasty traps, unpleasant surprises, or economic disasters in store the business leaders will be able to transact business with greater confidence.
There is in fact the tendency for the USA to (mis)perceive China as "just like the USSR". It is a mistake to do so, and I constantly point that fact out to other analysts. The most evident example if Steven Kotkin (might be Stephen, anyway he is very famous). There are few anglophone people who, like me, are fluent in both Chinese and Russian and have studied the various communist parties ideas fairly closely. But even I could not tell you about Ho Chi Minh's supposed innovations or clearly define the distinctive features of Juche ideology as contrasted against Maoism. As I have said there is a vast amount of information to master, and a lot of things about which one can make mistakes. However, recognizing others errors enables me to exploit them, and correcting my own errors means I am defeated less often.
Just like the USA did not plan for "what do we do to the USSR after we rip it to shreds" the USA also did not plan for "what do we do if China grows out of near starvation". They just stupidly assumed China would magically turn into "just like america". This is one source of their errors, and is a mistake we shall not repeat with the soonto be former "Russian" Federation. There will be a reconstruction plan, especially for Ukraine, war crimes trials, truth and reconciliation committees and of course construction contracts, aid and trade. China shall contribute thereto and benefit therefrom, and is most likely to benefit more than it contributes, and why shouldn't China benefit from not blowing things or people to bits?
A disordered world is honestly not the objective of the US leaders. The USA today is not Britain in 1800. The USA is not pursuing a policy of "balance of powers" to prevent global unification to maintain our own security. Rather, it is seeking to build a world of peace through prosperity and prosperity through productivity.
In the USA imagination the whole world becomes prosperous, thus peaceful, thus democratic, also with human rights. But they really suck at planning for "what if that doesn't happen" and also at actually implementing their lofty vision.
However, since China is successful, or at least was prior to 2019, I expect China will be able to convince/coerce/compel the USA to sensible policies, which are in fact in the interests of the USA.

Good coverage on may issues today.
Moscow is most likely planning a false flag event to stir up tensions and give reason to attack NATO directly.
Time will tell.
