Why Democrats Suck
Why the Democratic Party is Unmotivated and Self Destructive
Let me lay it out straight for you: the Democratic Party has a self-destructive streak that's as obvious as a cow on a football field. This isn’t a secret, nor is it an ugly truth that’s hidden away—it’s out in the open for anyone with eyes to see. Democrats have a knack for shooting themselves in the foot, and they’ve got enough ammunition to take out both legs. I'm talking about the entire party's inability to get its act together and fight for its own survival.
The ultra-left influence within the party is a big part of this mess. Let’s be blunt: these are the assholes who are okay with, or even actively seeking, to "burn it all down." This is the Trotskyite wing of the Democratic Party—secretive, treacherous, and full of illusions about the U.S. class structure. These folks actually think Marx was right and that Trotsky was an angel, blaming everything on Stalin to this very day. Fools like Armand Hammer embody this ultra-left delusion, thinking they can outsmart history with their revolutionary fantasies.
Then there’s the Black Panther and PLO wings of the ultra-leftists. These are the heirs of Huey Newton, Eldridge Cleaver, and the Black Muslims, sometimes both. Add to them a sliver, the heirs to the Weather Underground (more trots, sometimes, maybe) and, of course, the PLOs refugee fraction. This faction doesn’t mind watching U.S. democracy implode if it means shaking up the system. They bring committed activists and, yes, guns to the table—much like a political poker game where everyone's holding a bad hand but refuses to fold. If only we had someone with an idea about authoritarian democracy and ideology to weld and weild The Rebel Horde…
The cosa nostra wing of the Democratic Party has largely aged out, replaced somewhat by Hispanic cartel frontmen. They bring bullets and bodies, not ideas or votes. This sector is the least committed to the democratic party or even to democratic principles and the least influential, but they add a violent edge to the party’s internal conflicts.
Most importantly let’s not forget the Roosevelts, the Kennedys, and their ilk. These super-rich elites couldn’t care less about winning or losing; they just want favorable tax policies and to throw some bread and circuses at the masses. They’re not in it for the fight; they’re in it for the spoils. Usually the Rockefeller and Bush factions split the other way so I am gonna politely ignore them like a turd in a punch bowl.
The situation is even more dire because the two deeply committed wealthy Democratic factions are indifferent to whether Democrats actually hold state power. We've got the Roosevelts and Kennedys, and all their heirs who are super rich and absolutely love that. They're not into winning or losing, whining or loathing, rthey just want favorable tax policies and throw some bread and circuses at the proles. They're the ones who think they bought their way into power and stay there forever. Mazbe ask RFK Jr. how that is working out. They, and they alone since the destruction of American labor unions, bring money to the table, and any Democratic campaign must have the support of at least one or the other, preferably both. Guess what happens when two different democratic candidates have the support of one, only? Meanwhile, the actual street-level democratic activists are people who have been systematically excluded from state power. They’re used to not having power and might not know what to do with it if they ever got it. Barack Obama is a prime example: he governed as if he were the dean of a very large law school. Part of his base in Chicago includes literal drug-running gangsters—after all, they have money, guns, and are in his home jurisdiction. So, between Eric Holder and the Mexican mafia, who cares who gets killed with ghost guns?
Do you see why I'm not a Democratic activist?
Then there's my faction—the Rick Wilson faction. You probably don’t need a shot-caller. But me, your local sheriff, and the FBI have common ground: we hate it when people try to get us to kill each other. See e.g., infra...
So, do not worry Rick Wilson: someone will pay, one way or other. . .
Back to the dumbocrats. This leaves the anti-war Quakers and Mennonites. They’re part of the Democratic left base but are unaccustomed to holding state power. If they did, the results would be more like Carter than the actually quaker Nixon, whose ruthlessness got things done.
Basically, since the baby boomers, Democrats have been unable to maintain the Roosevelt coalition of labor unions, Jews, Blacks, and Catholics. This coalition was the result of specific demographics, which are not coming back. Instead, the U.S. voter base now includes immigrant Indians, Chinese, Hispanics, and party politicos trying to connect them all with cohesive ideas and policies. . Democrats need an active, motivated get-out-the-vote base, smart policymakers, and charismatic candidates. But moneyed whites, now indifferent to the Catholic-Protestant split, are ever fewer in heirs. Maybe literal American Indians will wind up being the deciding faction, since indigenous people have sufficient coherence to vote as a bloc and good reasons to support or oppose either major U.S. party.
THE ROOSEVELT COALITION: A BYGONE ERA DEMOCRATS YEARN FOR THAT WILL NEVER RETURN
The Roosevelt coalition , which was the backbone of the Democratic Party from the 1930s to the 1960s, was a fragile alliance of labor unions, Jews, Blacks, and Catholics. This diverse group was brought together by shared economic interests and a common enemy in the Great Depression: each group had a vested interest in the New Deal and the Great Society. It fell apart because the demographic shifts and economic changes of the post-war period undermined the common ground that held it together. Labor unions weakened, suburbanization diluted urban ethnic concentrations, and the civil rights movement created new political fault lines, ending some problems and creating others.
Those demographics are not coming back. The labor unions have declined, the Jewish vote has shifted to the Republicans, and the Black vote has become increasingly fragmented. The Catholics, meanwhile, have become more conservative and more likely to vote Republican. The coalition that was once the foundation of the Democratic Party is now a relic of the past.
IDEOLOGICAL LAXITY ALSO EXPLAINS DEMOCRATIC ELECTORAL FAILURE AFTER FAILURE
Democrats, ideologically speaking, are very skeptical about patriotism, ambivalent about war-fighting, and are likelier to be agnostic or even atheist. This ideological laxity saps their motivation to fight hard for their positions. They're more interested in nuance and complexity than in winning elections. And let's be real, their positions tend to be redistributive, which is a hard sell in a country where the majority of citizens are skeptical at best or outright hostile to political redistribution. They're distrustful of government due to the risk of tyranny, and they're not convinced that the Democrats can deliver on their promises.
THE 51% AFFAIR
Elections are fifty-one percent affairs. And in the age of greater information exchange, focus group polling, and social media, the US presidential election has consistently been decided by 51%, or even closer, a razor-thin margin. This means that every vote counts, and small shifts in voter sentiment can tip the balance. For Democrats, this requires a disciplined, united front—something they have historically struggled to maintain. This also means that the winner is not necessarily the most popular candidate, but the one who can cobble together a coalition of 51% of the electorate. All those facts taken together have led to a situation where candidates are more focused on appealing to their base than on winning over undecided voters. It's a recipe for polarization and factionalism, and it's a major reason why the Democratic Party is struggling to find its footing.
POLARIZATION AND FACTIONALISM
Polarization and factionalism have taken over U.S. politics. The polarization and factionalism of US politics are a direct result of the 51% affair. Voters no longer split tickets, and voter turnout is a dismal 55% in federal elections. This means that only 10% of the population is concerned directly about politics, are political professionals. The ten percent of political fighters are about split evenly in their mutual opposition. The remaining 90% of the people who could vote are interested only in their daily affairs and not deeply committed to either major party. It's a recipe for disaster, and it's a major reason why the Democratic Party is struggling to find its footing. The implications are clear: without a unified, motivated base, Democrats will continue to struggle in the fight for power. The factions within the party need to find common ground and a shared purpose, or they’ll keep sabotaging their own chances, election after election. The party needs to find a way to appeal to the 90%, to find a way to make politics relevant to their daily lives. Until then, the party will continue to struggle, and the country will continue to be polarized and factionalized.

Vote for Biden, not Trump: Here is Why
As the 2020 presidential election approaches, the stakes have never been higher. The choice between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is not just a decision between two candidates, but a choice between two fundamentally different visions for America's future. Joe Biden is the clear choice for president because Donald Trump's presidency was a disaster.
Joe Biden: Steady Leadership and Proven Results
First and foremost, Joe Biden is a leader with a proven track record of public service and a deep understanding of the issues that matter most to Americans. With over 40 years of experience in government, Biden has a unique ability to bring people together and find common ground, even in the most divisive of times. His commitment to bipartisanship and his willingness to listen to opposing views are essential qualities in a president, particularly in a time when our country is more polarized than ever.
In contrast, Donald Trump's presidency has been marked by division, chaos, and dishonesty, a blatant disregard for the truth. From his earliest days in office, Trump has used his platform to sow hate and pit Americans against one another. His tweets and public statements are often laced with racism, sexism, and fear of foreigners, and his policies have consistently favored the wealthy and powerful at the expense of the weakest people who need protection most.
Economic Stability and Growth: Stock Market at All Time Highs!
Under President Biden's administration, the U.S. has seen significant economic recovery and growth following the COVID-19 pandemic. Biden's American Rescue Plan provided essential relief to families, businesses, and local governments, leading to a stronger job market and reduced unemployment rates. Investments in infrastructure through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law have begun to modernize the nation’s roads, bridges, and public transportation, creating millions of jobs and stimulating the economy.
Healthcare
Biden has prioritized healthcare, working to strengthen the Affordable Care Act and make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all Americans. His administration has also focused on reducing prescription drug prices and expanding mental health services.
Environmental Protection
The passage of the Inflation Reduction Act includes historic investments in clean energy and sustainability, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and transition the U.S. towards a clean economy.
Biden has made addressing this crisis a central plank of his campaign, proposing a comprehensive plan to transition our economy to 100% clean energy and create millions of new jobs in the process. Trump, by contrast, has denied the science and rolled back critical environmental protections, putting our planet and our children's future at risk.
Global Leadership
On the international stage, President Biden has worked to restore America’s alliances and global prestige. Biden’s approach to foreign policy emphasizes diplomacy and cooperation, reinforcing relationships with NATO allies and taking a firm stand against dictatorships. Biden’s administration saved Ukraine from Russian conquest because of our commitment to democracy and peace.
Social Policy
Biden's commitment to protecting reproductive rights and protectig minorities against discrimination has been evident through his administration’s policies and appointments.
Donald Trump: A Return to Chaos, Crisis, & Confusion
The differences between Biden and Trump go far beyond policy. They are fundamentally different people with different values and different visions for America's future. Biden is a leader who believes in the power of government to improve people's lives, who believes in the importance of science and facts, and who believes in the dignity and worth of every human being. Trump, on the other hand, is a leader who believes in the power of wealth and privilege, who believes in the importance of winning at all costs, and who believes in the superiority of some groups over others.
Divisive Destruction of Democracy and Law
Donald Trump's presidency was marked by unprecedented levels of division and chaos. His hateful rhetoric and dishonest policies often targeted the weak, sowing fear, hate, anger, and undermining social stability. Trump’s repeated attacks on democratic institutions and law, including his baseless claims of election fraud, culminated in the January 6th Capitol riot, posing a direct threat to the core of American democracy: the peaceful transition of supreme executive powe
Crisis after Crisis
Trump didnt care if old people died of COVID since they were not taxpayers but instead were recipients of pensions and health care payouts. Better off dead! Trumps catastrophic ignorance and lies about the virues caused a million Americans to die and damaged the economy. Trumps failure to lead a coherent strategy in the face of a global health crisis is more proof of Trumps failure as a leader.
Economics
Trump’s economic policies disproportionately benefited the wealthy, with significant tax cuts for corporations and the rich, increasing economic inequality.
Destroying Diplomacy
Trump’s "America First" alienated Americas best friends and allies abroad, which emboldened our enemies to attack. Trumps crazy foreign policy decisions caused chaos, instability, and weakened American global leadership. Trump abandoned international agreements and organizations weakened efforts world-wide to build a better planet.
VOTE FOR BIDEN
So what can you do? The answer is simple: get out and vote for Joe Biden. This election is not just about choosing a president; it's about choosing a direction for our country. It's about choosing between a future of hope and unity, or a future of fear and division. It's about choosing between a leader who will work tirelessly to improve the lives of all Americans, or a leader who will continue to prioritize the interests of the wealthy and powerful.
Don't just sit on the sidelines and watch as our country's future is decided. Get out and vote. Volunteer for the Biden campaign. Talk to your friends and family about the importance of this election. And most importantly, remember that every single vote matters. In 2016, Trump won the presidency by just 77,000 votes in three critical states.
Let's choose a leader who will bring us together, not tear us apart. Let's choose a leader who will fight for the rights and dignity of every human being, not just the wealthy and powerful. Let's choose Joe Biden for president. Get out and vote on November 3rd, and let's build a better future for ourselves, our children, and our country.
You, your friends, and your family, should vote for Joe Biden. Ensure America continues on a path of recovery, unity, and global leadership. Together, we can build a stronger, fairer, and more powerful America. Let’s move forward, not backward. Vote Biden in 2024!
