How can an Egg (White on the outside, but Yellow on the inside…) be thrown off the roof without breaking?

Predictions:
China’s next grand strategic move will be to seek to export and transpose Chinese culture both for economic and political purposes. Whether it will do so as part of a “new cultural revolution”, “new hundred flowers campaign” both, or neither has yet to be determined. Chinese arms racing will be recast as defensive and deterrent. China has no intention of giving up on regaining control over Taiwan, but it is likely the governments in Beijing and Taipei will reach a mutually acceptable accord. It is very likely the current PRC government recognizes it currently could not successfully invade Taiwan, and that such an invasion would risk a real revolution or coup in Beijing, just ask Galtieri, Argentine dictator who led Argentina to defeat against Britain in the Falkland Island war. Meanwhile, I can easily imagine either Beijing or Taipei (probably both) saying something like “well, we are all Chinese, we can certainly get along peacefully somehow”.
Deeply study and understand Xi Jinping Thought on Culture by Qu Qingshan in Study Times https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EU8hi74N1gv5YRarglzWiQXpR2HrzLx9P8TpxoqhvLg/edit?usp=sharingmy suggestion is to take it word-for-word in earnest. It may help to compare Chinese policy formulation to British. First you get public statements, which are then hashed out in committe, and eventually formed up into a coherent, dry, but factually accurate document. If you’re looking for mysteries its at the “public pronouncement” level, not the finished document. Finished documents, dry and repetitive though they may be, say just what they mean. For those unfamiliar, proposed and final government documents in parliamentary democracies may be presented as a Green paper, Grey paper, Blue paper, White paper. White papers are final documents. The others are intermediate drafts. The details are hammered out in the successive revisions.
Book Reviews:
I review books about law, politics, economics, history, and foreign languages, posting the reviews on google books and goodreads. If you wish me to review your book eric.engle@outlook.de
"The road to Qin (=China) passes through Chu"楚(plaintext i.e. 清楚)i.e. if you communicate openly and honestly you are much likelier to be taken in earnest by your Chinese governmental counterpart.`
Spoiler Alert: dictatorships and kleptocracies lose wars, unlike governance by democracy and rule-of-law. This means the PRC will continue to reform itself and open up (国内改变,国外开放)。 Paradoxally, as China becomes more and more democratic (see, “new democracy”) and law based its military will become more effective, yet its foreign relations will be much less likely to war, revolution, and coup d’etat.

I deliver, in other words My predictions come true. Here is a partial list:
China willing to cooperate with US, manage differences - Xi | Reuters
Saudi-crown-prince-indicatesIIsrael-normalization-can-resume-after-war
The USA is gonna treat Russia … the way Rome treated Carthage. China will get a slice of whatever is left of what used to be Russia. When it happens don’t be surprised, I will remind you of my prediction.
More predictions:
China and the USA will contend militarily, sparring, there is nothing I can do about that. Yet they will also continue to trade and invest and compete economically. That’s simply an example of the unity and conflict of opposites. They have in common a desire for riches, benevolent hard-working cultures (one of which appreciates learning), and the fourth largest Chinese country on earth is … the United States. You are doomed to trade and investment. If one of the crapitalists is too stupid to notice the other is a mercantilist and is not liberal that is my problem how? Is someone dying? No? then quit bitching about your shitty investments! A fool and his money are soon parted.
CONTENTION
The title is extreme, (clickbait extremism generates traffic!) but the video in fact does shows how the USA and China are squaring off.
Spoiler: China’s “aggressive” foreign policy is driven by resource dependence, particularly petroleum dependence. All you need to do to tame that dragon is feed it oil if it’s good and warn it that being bad mean no sweet light crude. The Chinese want to get rich more than they want to kill you, unlike certain Unislamic terrorists who shall remain nameless. Speaking of which! If you actually want to prevent and correct so-called Islamic terrorism all you need to do is actually read your Koran and then point out the various Surahs which prohibit attacks on women, children, there is such a thing as Islamic law of war and targeting women and children is clearly prohibited by Koran. It’s probably difficult for deeply committed religious people to invoke other religions, it’s like they never heard of the term “pious lie”, which is another reasons religion and state power are separated in modernity.

COOPERATION
Prediction: the USA will talk loudly about “decoupling” “insourcing” and then that aggressive posturing and propaganda will be replaced with terms like “reshoring” and “de-risking”, but in the end you will still invest and trade with A State Capitalist Mercantilist Dictatorship, that wants to be so much more. If you think China is a monster it is a hopeful monster. By the way, maybe some people think the USA is a monster, hm?
Aside from assuming China can only copy and cannot innovate, a view that is literally ignorant of Chinese history, my so called leaders wrongly presume China wants to be just like America, which is great if you are a self-centered narcissist but inaccurate, wrong, and thus bad if you are are a fact based foreign policy analyst.
Basically American so-called leaders want to assume that China is just inevitably doomed to lose in rivalry with the USA due to an incapacity to invent or even just innovate, an impending demographic collapse, a rigid governance style. In other words — they want to imagine their unexpected great rival will just magically disappear. No, you are not getting Magical Unicorn Cavalry. Weder Pony noch Eis! China is the world’s oldest civilization with a recorded history of at least 5,000 years, more like 10,000 years if we include oral history. It is not going to disappear.
This is why I hate the American so-called elite: they are worse than stupid they are ignorant and opportunistic, yet think themselves special, the best blah blah rah rah. Ok “we see Fürtherland”, how’s that mass drug addiction going? Hey, how’s it like to live in a society where the average person is all fat no muscle? America lacks qualified youth eligible for military recruitment because they are fat, drug addicted, criminal convicts, who failed at high school. How did you get there? Oh, go ahead, blame China, that will surely solve your problems! The failures in U.S. society and U.S. foreign policy are not my fault, nor even China’s fault, but if you want a scape-goat past experience shows you are only too willing to blame me and mine for your flaws faults and problems. So here I am telling you what you need to hear, which is not at all what you want to hear! Truth hurts. But not as bad as all those mass shootings.
Instead of blaming China for drugs, fatties and nutjob gunjobs maybe just maybe get some fucking self discipline?

“Has China's Economy Hit the Wall?”
Of course not. China’s economy is the wall.
The following video features a person who is less wrong than average. Kroeger is basically trying to respond to Peter Zeihan shitting up U.S. foreign policy with a bunch of self-deluding disinformation and happy-talk. Yet, Kroeger cannot explain the Chinese economy. Here. Let me remind you: a famous Chinese leader once said “Some of us will get rich first.” Murricans tend to fail to process the rest of it. “All of us will get rich.” Kroeger, a China expert, is grappling with the question why do the Chinese “chives” keep producing product even in the face of risks like confiscation, selective taxation, limits on free speech, or even corruption. He will never talk about corruption overtly! Might scare off investors! It’s like he never even noticed 勤劳,乐观,辛苦, and 文明 .
So, why do Chinese people produce despite the limits of Party-State governance? Chinese people work so hard to make money for their family. So important is family in Chinese culture that the Chinese refer to their country as their national family, 国家。 In other words, even if a Chinese worker can’t max out money for their parents and children - so what? The money they make is going to ALL China in other words the national family 国家。
It looks like the nation which grew into snide a sarcastic cynical regard to the basic virtue of patriotism can no longer imagine the other guy is at least as patriotic as you are. So wipe the snide cynical smile off your face before he shoots your mouth off for you. Get some fucking humility.
China, correctly, is implementing supply-side driven export substitution. It’s aging population will do piece work at home. China’s economy has not hit a wall and will not collapse. It will keep growing and will switch into higher tech, seeking to build the military industrial capacity America is trying, much belatedly, to cut them off from.
Note: America’s money bias is also why it cannot figure out why they can get hit by terrorists. Most terrorists are utterly indifferent to money life and death, they arevarieties of ascectic. Such ignorance allows me to strike at will at any target, and at any time of my own choosing. Don’t worry honey, I make the enemies of the republic tremble, too. Americunts need to get much better at opponent modelling, which is tough for self-centered narcissists.
For example: Defintely worth watching! But…You hear this guy’s accent?
Guess what. That is YOU (and me) when speaking Chinese! FIX IT. Maybe sign up for an accent reduction course? Can you speak Chinese better than he speaks English? That is the challenge!

RELIGION
Many people in the USA claim to be Buddhist … without in fact knowing much about Buddhism. It’s trendy! Edgy!
Meanwhile, China’s leaders grapple with the ideas of religion and state power.
Probably if you are reading this you have not heard of the grand vow some Buddhists take to become a bodhisvatta, seeking to enlighten and save all living creaturs from suffering, which results generally speaking from ignorance. Yet, it would be useful for those considering either Buddhism or Marxism to compare the ideals each of them contemplates and swears to seek.

Disyllabic Words!
In ancient Chinese all words were 1 syllable long. In fact it remains true that each syllable in a Chinese word has meaning, just like syllables in English or other European languages. Yet, to account for new concepts and inventions and also to disambiguate speech among a nation which was increasing in size and area Chinese grew its one syllable words, usually into two syllables. Three or four syllable words in Chinese exist but are very rare. Sometimes the disyllabization is by way of a simple nominalizing suffix, namely 子 or 头 occasionally by “meaningless bound forms” i.e. a sound associated with that word, which is not used independantly. Note that this may lead to a tone shift most evidently 33 toned disyllabic words turn into a 23 toned word.

The longer video on the US's encirclement of China is really great. Just the thumbnail image is enough to clearly convey what's going on. I can't see how this tight encirclement is sustainable, and I keep hoping that the USA will think of a way to gracefully step back a pace and give China some breathing room. But I've no idea if that's the kind of thing they're thinking about - or if it can be done without sacrificing Taiwan.
