The longer video on the US's encirclement of China is really great. Just the thumbnail image is enough to clearly convey what's going on. I can't see how this tight encirclement is sustainable, and I keep hoping that the USA will think of a way to gracefully step back a pace and give China some breathing room. But I've no idea if that's the kind of thing they're thinking about - or if it can be done without sacrificing Taiwan.
China, though facing military over-match in conventional conflict is nonetheless able to trade and even invest peacefully. Consequently, although Chinas leaders will compain mightily they also will recognize they are in a very good position and will compete or even contend peacefully and politically rather than violently contend. They know they have it good, historically speaking, and are terrified of having it taken away, but dare never admit that because who likes or respects a coward?
