Friendly reminder: I am partisan in exactly one way. I support partisans in occupied Ukraine and Russia waging guerilla war against a criminal regime ruling in Moscow with the express purpose of ousting that criminal by any means necessary. I advise voting for incumbents in domestic elections. I’m a NATO kinda fella.
Drugs: Compliance, Cooperation, & Complaint
Sometimes I am shocked by how badly capitalists negotiate with a literal dictatorship. This may be partly due to their split into governance (the elect) and finance experts (the wealthy). Often I don’t mind if they are out-maneuvered: some issues aren’t that important. Drugs isn’t one.
Regarding narcotics: China will whine and moan mightily, but will comply when compelled; or else.
Most of the USA drug problem is self-inflicted. It’s the Sackler mafia making a cash grab, just like they did with valium thanks to lax political and regulatory oversight. Well, mafia families get mafia solutions. You might not like my methods but you love the results.
Despite the fact most of decadent America’s drug problem is self-inflicted, the United States will regard failure of China to completely cooperate in the suppression of narcotics as China’s revenge for the British opium wars, and would take illegal countermeasures. It’s a borderless world.
So, I know the Chinese ultra nationalists and my vast family will be disciplined and obey the dreaded people’s party, as the CCP fights for the lives of the poorest even in the global core countries’ back field. It does so to live up to its ideals and live out its goal of defending the world’s poorest from the world’s richest. China will complain constantly while doing that because it is constrained all along the way to the better world they are fighting for. So they will comply despite flaws and fevered imaginings or complaints. Welcome to unity-in-conflict, agitation-and-propaganda.
I point all that out because most bourgeois are clueless pussies. More or less, they never went hungry, got in a fist fight other than of their own choosing, never once begged for anything. Instead, they are usually varieties of polite but cowardly; many are hypocrites, or even liars, and they are almost always greedy. I don’t hate you, I just understand your limits. Capitalist elites’ experiential ignorance is part of why the CCP can and often does out-maneuver the USA! Sometimes that’s acceptable, or at least tolerable: Outcomes matter more than process, as a general rule. Exceptionally, being out-maneuvered for a questionable marginal advantage must be firmly resisted, refused, and refuted. Narcotics is such a case. So are murdered whores and pedophiled children. We have standards. We enforce some of them with violence. Mostly they are enforced by social pressure, peer pressure, and emulation; by setting and living out the example of desired conduct. Don’t worry, I do this to the other side, too. Why put it down in writing?
The Chinese people and their government firmly oppose narcotics, as shown by Chinese capital punishment laws. Those who have been victims are least likely to inflict the victimization they suffered on others. Hereto, the Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Qin Gang stated:
“China was a painful victim of opium in history. In the 19th century, Britain profited immensely from smuggling opium into China. When China decided to ban the material to save its population and economy, the British launched the Opium War, which started a century of humiliation for China, marked by a slate of unequal treaties and waves of Western agressions. The repercussions of history are felt even today. With such searing pains in our national memory, China holds an understandably stronger antipathy for narcotics than any other country, as displayed in its zero-tolerance attitude towards all narcotic drugs, as well as stringent control and tough punishment measures. Thanks to these efforts, narcotics are not endemic in China.
This part of history has made China naturally empathize with the United States and other countries in their fight against narcotics, hence our proactive cooperation with global partners under the framework of the United Nations conventions on counter-narcotics.”
Results matter more than happy talk. You can’t profit off of prole suffering. There’s no juice to squeeze, proles are judgment proof, you can’t get blood from a stone, pick your proverb. What’s right and wrong is right or wrong regardless of wealth or poverty.
Many of the decadent undisciplined bourgeois capitalists whining about drugs are mere hypocrites profiteering, as the Sacklers show. Those rich Sackler suits will cry crocodile tears all the way to the car bomb. So what?
Guns: Ukraine and China
In phase one of the war my objective was to keep Chinese weapons out of Russian hands. This goal was achieved. I wish to thank the Chinese Communist Party for their wisdom and restraint. By refusing to arm Russia’s on-going war-crime the CCP has kept its word and lives out and up to its own ideals. 感谢您们。
In phase 2 of this horrible stupid ongoing Russian war crime my objective is to convince China to actively disempower Russia. To put it pointedly: my goal is to persuade the CCP to stab Russia in the back: the harder the better, the more often the better. Thieves and murderers don’t stop until we make them stop. This is the way to end the war as quickly as possible, with the least bloodshed possible, and will secure Chinese foreign policy and security interests most effectively.
My goal is to see Russia stripped of nuclear weapons, stripped of its U.N. Security Council veto, and reduced from “Greater Russia”, an empire of nations subjugated by Moscow and reduced to it’s slavic core, Muscovy. This is what happens to criminal regimes.
Disaggregation of the so-called “Russian” Federation and the independence of various nations subjugated by Muscovy as “autonomous regions” and “districts” will favor Chinese interests in peace through prosperity in Central Asia and American interests in the enforcement of a rules based world order in which States no longer wage wars of aggression to conquer foreign countries. Russia will be punished for lawlessness. China will be rewarded to the extent it cooperates with the USA. A grand pacific partnership requires give and take by Beijing and D.C.
Peace through prosperity, which favors China, also favors U.S. economic interests and global governance but much less so than it favors China. Yet, Beijing, Brussels, and D.C. will all benefit politically and economically from the defeat of Russia in Ukraine and its disaggregation into the various national republics Muscovy subjugated. These terrible things I do are justified by the grand goals which will be attained.
Well-meaning but ignorant or unintelligent ultra-nationalists may disagree with me. The falun daffies and stormfront for the most obvious opposed examples will both oppose my policies because they will strengthen China by weakening Russia. These ultras and religious crazies ignore the fact that China has waged no foreign wars since 1979. The ultras also ignore that Russia has waged war after war and is a criminal regime of murderers and thieves. Some of the ultras and nationalists are racists and wrongly imagine other races to be hostile, enemies, when in fact everyone else on earth wants to get along and even benefit from trade and a global culture of peace through prosperity, prosperity through production and trade, a global culture of tolerance, trade, and inclusion. Ultras should be isolated, ignored, sidelined on this issue because while usually well-intended here their instinctive nationalism backfires.

Governance: Two Models of State Power
1. The State is the Family Writ Large
Whether in the East or West state power evolved from natural inevitable structures, as Aristotle observed. In China, state power originates and extends from the family: Family, Clan, Tribe, Nation, Empire. This is the evolutionary path of state power whether in the West or China. The fact State-power grows from family structures is even more the case in China.
Almost all States cast the State into the role of “the family writ large”: the all powerful all providing father and mother we all ought to have ha.
2. The State is a Multinational Enterprise
The United States is perhaps unique. The United States of America is not the family writ large: it is more like a multinational corporation than a family. The United States is akin to a business corporation formed by voluntary agreements rather than blood ties. Thus, it is “natural” for the American model of state power to feature a limited government. Likewise, it is “natural” for other States, more or less overtly organized as “the grand family”, to see state power as unlimited, all-powerful. The state, like one’s parents, can do everything and anything, in the model of State-power as a grand family.
3. China
In China it is even more the case that the State is the family writ large, with all power than in the West. This is partly because early on China organized itself into clans. It is also because Confucius, in his attempt to restore order to the destruction of China sought to rely on family and thus clans as the most powerful legitimating foundation of state power. These two trends were accentuated further in later Chinese foreign policy, which closely regarded affairs wherever there were overseas Chinese and through the tributary system and clan intermarriage for political purposes.
Thus, we can anticipate China’s most important foreign policy interests to be in those areas where there are overseas Chinese people, and also in those countries which have been historically part of Manchu (1644 to 1912) or Yuan China (1279–1368) or even “merely” where Chinese literature and religion are important. Thus in a roughly descending order of power and influence: (Tibet) Burma, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Japan.
China has the cultural and economic foundations necessary for regional hegemony in East and even Central Asia. This is the real strategic challenge, the capacity of China to out-maneuver the USA by trade and diplomacy to win wars without fighting. Hopefully the fact the USA has the world’s fourth largest population of overseas Chinese will attenuate their conflicting ideological and governance tendencies.
Here is an example of Chinese cultural diplomacy. Indonesia has a great number of influential overseas Chinese. It should not surprise us when China seeks or obtains influence there. Do not under-estimate your counterpart.
Looks like the other fella can do unity-in-conflict too.

India
As Russia’s war flails and fails in Ukraine, India will increasingly reject Russia. Russia arms have proven themselves second-rate, so are Russian tactics. India’s border dispute with China and other regional rivalries with China, notably regarding Pakistan, will drive India closer to Britain and the USA both as sources of arms and as trading partners. India is currently trying to figure out whether it can “play off” China, the USA, Britain, and Russia against each other to maximize Indian well-being and security. India really cannot play the rivals off against each other because the Russia rival is now largely powerless. Meanwhile, Indian rivalry with China is inevitable, their border dispute isn’t going anywhere. Hindu-Muslim tensions and the consequent Indo-Pak rivalry also constrain India. As Pakistan moves closer and closer to China, India will likewise move closer to the Anglo-Americans. Thus, India will naturally be unable to do much with China other than oppose it. Russia has betrayed the fact its weapons are inferior. Russia is heavily constrained and so India can get nothing from Russia. That leaves the Anglo-Americans. India should court Britain, which will inevitably drag along the Americans.
India Is Not a U.S. Ally—and Has Never Wanted to Be Virgins, likewise, never had sex — until they do. India will inevitably be drawn into the Anglo-American world particularly because of the English language and Anglo-Indian ties, including Indian migrants to North America and Britain.
If Chinese is too tough for you learn Hindi, Urdu, and/or Gujarat. All three are quite close to each other and are Indo-Europea languages. They are also important languages for diplomacy and will be increasingly important commercially too.
EU
Another prediction I made come’s true:
Europe’s new Marshall Plan: The EU makes a bet on rebuilding Ukraine
The EU will help rebuild the wreckage of Russia’s gang-rape smash-and-grab war crime because Europeans want Ukrainian grain and Russian oil. However, they would prefer it not to be soaked in blood. We should praise and encourage European foresight in this regard and thank European leaders for rejecting war-for-profit.
The Dread Dragon’s Dictatorship
Recently people are complaining because Biden called China a dictatorship.
China is a dictatorship. Art. I Const. PRC.
I would like China to evolve from a totalitarian dictatorship into an authoritarian democracy. China's future is to become a giant Singapore, not a giant Pyongyang. Xi Jinping, head of state of a dictatorship, is a dictator. However, the CCP regards itself as leading a people’s dictatorship and as the alternative to the dictatorship of finance capital. Helping China transform itself into an authoritarian democracy, a new democracy, is both possible and desirable. Lots of rich people will disagree with me, but bullets and coins are quite different, even though both are made of metal.
If China smartly amends Art. I PRC Const. then Xi could not be called a dictator. External and internal forces will both impel the CCP to reform the Chinese governance system into greater democracy, better laws, and state power limited by the people and conditioned on their real needs and desires.
We need unlikely heroes in unusual places.
